I wanted to share with you what’s been taken off my bookshelf for reading lately. enjoy!

1. The Explicit Gospel by Matt Chandler and Jared Wilson: in the middle of this one right now. loving it. watch the trailer here. 

2. Nehemiah: A Heart that Can Break by Kelly Minter: I actually just bought this study last night. a good friend of mine and I are going through this study together this summer. I’m only a few days in and absolutely loving it. praying the Lord would break my heart for what breaks His. 

3. Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer: read this book in junior level English in high school. thought it was interesting then, but after I reread it on the plane to Seattle last week I was completely charmed by the book. a beautiful, raw read about a young boy and his interaction with the aftermath of 9/11.
